National Health Scheme Rules

These rules have been drawn up to make the scheme easy to understand and more transparent. The scheme is free to everyone, and you do not have to be an NPDC member in order to have your dog tested. To ensure it’s smooth running, the scheme will be dealt with by:

Health Representatives:
Wendy Urwin – [email protected] or Brian Turnbull [email protected]

The scheme consists of three levels: bronze, silver & gold. Each level will be certified when the dog has been tested and the original certificates have been submitted to the health representative, where a copy will be taken and held in the National Health Scheme records. The original certificates must include the following details for them to be accepted:
– KC registration number/name
– Dogs name (daily name)
– Date of birth
– Sex
– Colour
– Microchip number
